In late 2019 CPA’s website was experiencing stability issues following their upgrade from Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), version 7 to version 9.01.

Team Aceik to the rescue
To address the stability issues, CPA Australia went to tender for external assistance. Aceik was chosen from a shortlist of 3 agencies to review the implementation and provide recommendations that would stabilise the system and increase security. Aceik were also engaged to provide 24/7 support under a 3 month hypercare engagement.
Using Agile to deliver sprint based improvements
Together, Aceik and CPA Australia identified recommendations and then used an agile approach to do iterations that improved the system every 5-6 days.

Mentoring and coaching
It was also important to CPA Australia that there be mentoring and coaching of their team. To ensure the team was skilled, CPA Australia’s team completed Sitecore 9.x Developer Foundations course – customised for CPA Australia and conducted by Aceik. The 5 day course conducted onsite was customised for CPA Australia; a structured combination of admin and coding.
