When challenges with a previous vendor slowed progress, CSR and Aceik came together to reset momentum and drive the website transformation with renewed direction.
To power the next phase of digital growth, CSR and Aceik partnered to stabilise and complete the Sitecore XM Cloud migration, establishing a scalable foundation to support a seamless multi-brand digital experience across regions.

The Challenge
With its Sitecore XMC migration partially delivered by a previous vendor, CSR faced unresolved technical issues and platform instability that impacted performance and stakeholder confidence.
Key challenges included:
In December 2024, Aceik was brought in to review the current state, finalise the Phase 1 build across four key sites, and establish a strong foundation for future stages of the program.
The Approach
Technical remediation
As part of the remediation process, Aceik conducted a comprehensive review of the existing implementation, identifying and prioritising key technical issues.
To future-proof the solution, we also recommended shifting from a multi-theme, single-site model to a scalable multi-head architecture – enabling greater maintainability and brand flexibility.
Phase One Website Build
Following the technical remediation, CSR and Aceik successfully launched CSR’s new corporate websites in Australia and New Zealand as well as new websites for the Gyprock and PGH Bricks brands.
This included:
Training, Support and Handover
To empower CSR’s internal teams, CSR and Aceik worked together to deliver comprehensive documentation, ad-hoc content authoring support and targeted training covering all new components and templates and to enable better user acceptance.
This included concise quick-reference guides, focused sessions for each major feature set, and detailed component-level documentation – ensuring CSR’s team is fully equipped to confidently manage and expand the platform in future.
One-Team Approach
From defining functional requirements through to content entry and user acceptance, CSR’s BA and Marketing teams collaborated as one with Aceik to bring CSR’s vision to life.
CSR’s IT team also partnered closely with Aceik’s developers to strengthen the underlying architecture and API-driven integrations powering the bespoke website components.
Impact
With the successful Phase 1 launch of csr.com.au, csr.co.nz, gyprock.com.au, and pghbricks.com.au, CSR now benefits from a robust, scalable Sitecore XM Cloud platform that seamlessly supports multiple brands across regions.
Within the first two weeks following launch, key results include:
With clear visibility of the remaining backlog to guide ongoing enhancements and future site improvements, this foundation sets CSR up for continued success and scalable growth throughout Phase 2 and beyond.
